Things to know about Subash Chandra Bose

As we all might be knowing him since our school days in the history lecture while some of them may be slept during those times. In this post we are going to see about one of our Indian Freedom Fighter. Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.

Subash Chandra Bose one of the Indian Freedom Fighter called as Netaji . The cause of Indian Freedom & Established Azad Hind Army aka Indian National Army during the Indian struggle for Independence. His main aim was to get rid from the British rule & his attempt were mostly successful.
Netaji Subash Chandra Bose born on 23rd Jan 1897 in Cuttack to Janakinath Bose & Prabhavati Devi. He was 9th child among their 8 Brothers & 6 Sister’s. His Father Janakinath Bose was a successful lawyer received the title of ‘Rai Bahadur’ & later he became a member of Legislative Council at Bengal.

Netaji passed his B.A in philosophy from Calcutta. His father wanted him to become a civil servant. He went England to appear for Civil Examination. Bose was placed fourth with highest marks in English. And got a job over there and received many awards.

He met a girl and felt in love with Emily Schenkllater they married silently in 1937 without a wedding ceremony. Emily gave birth to a girl child Anita in 1942. After the birth of their daughter, Bose left Germany in 1943 & came back to India.
And continued to struggled for Independence.

Netaji Subash Chandra Bose died at the age of 48 in the plane crash during the take off. Many of them didn’t believe his death and soon after some days truth revealed.
